Well hello there everyone. It's been a fun week! Monday for labor day 2 different families invited us over for BBQ's, so I think I gained like 10 pounds!!! This week I was able to go on a trade-off with our district leader Elder Wolfley (who was my roommate for 3 months in Lake City). It was way fun to catch up on things with him and work with him. Thursday was zone conference, which is always something to look forward to. A lot of things were talked about, but the main thing that I got out of it had to do more with vision. Specifically... goals. Right now we're spending a lot of time finding new people, and I've allowed my vision to slip a little bit. I found my focus being on getting return appointments, rather than finding people who are prepared for baptism. So with zone conference as my friendly reminder, my sights have been raised. Thursday Elder Pinto was sick and we came in a bit early so he could sleep. So our apartment got a deep cleaning and I actually caught up on my journal!!! YEAH! Saturday we helped our neighbor move some saltwater fishtanks. Those babies are heavy! Also, for the rest of the day I smelled like the ocean. That night was amazing. Will Primiano (recently baptized in Kingsland) picked me up and we headed to Lake City to pick up Elder Thacker. Then we drove up to Kingsland for the baptism of Ellen Crothers, who Thacker & I taught. It's always a sweet experience to be able to see someone you've grown close with make those covenants. The best part is seeing the light in their eyes. Then on Sunday we had a miracle day. Elder Pinto & I had been fasting & praying for 2 things... more investigators from members and a family to teach. Well, the Lord gave us both. I KNOW that the gospel is true, and I know that this is the Lord's work. The true joy comes as we get lost in the work of the Lord and find Him. I love you all, have a great week! -Elder Borgia
