This week was full of spiritual highs. First on Thursday we were able to go with a member to the Orlando temple. The Spirit was so strong! It helped me to refocus on my purpose... to help our investigators get there too! Saturday morning was the baptism of Will, who we met a little over 3 weeks ago. Talk about someone that was prepared!!! He's faced a lot of opposition, particularly from his family, but his testimony has been strengthened. Elder Thacker was able to baptize him and I confirmed him. The Spirit was SO STRONG at the baptism. Then this weekend was Stake Conference, and for most of it they talked about missionary work. President Newman spoke about the need for the members to share the gospel. Friday morning was also a cool/stressed out experience. Rewind to Thursday night. The AP's were at our apt. after having interviewed Will and as they were leaving they said "so we'll see you at the meeting tomorrow morning, right?" (??!!) Apparently they'd forgotten to tell us that we needed to be at a meeting Friday morning in JAX. So the night went on, and we forgot about it. We woke up in the morning and realized that we had no clue how to get there, and at that early hour we totally spaced the fact that we had a GPS thingy. So we got directions and headed out. Well the directions called for us to take 295-east, and we saw that 295 only goes north & south. (?!) So we took a chance and headed South. Well, we finally got there, after a phone call and 50 extra miles. Luckily we were only a few minutes late. We get to the meeting and are surprised to see that Elder Gonzalez of the Presidency of the Seventy is there talking to us. So he talked to us some more about working with the members, and challenged us to triple our baptisms (we've already doubled them). So... onward & upward I guess. So yeah... that was my great week. I hope to hear from some of y'all soon! Love ya! -Elder Borgia
