Wow! It's been an exciting week. I don't even know where to start, so I'll just start typing and hopefully y'all will be able to piece it all together. My last few days in Kingsland were pretty good. I was only there for 6 weeks so I didn't have too many goodbyes. For p-day we went to Fernadina Beach in Florida (about 30 minutes south) and chilled there. It was so sweet! So this week we were hit by tropical storm Fay. We were told that it might become a category 1 hurricane, and it was supposed to hit on Thursday morning, right as transfers were supposed to happen. SO... bring on hectic & stressful Wednesday. Thacker & I woke up thinking it would be a normal day. We'd heard some rumors that transfers might change because of the storm, so we called the AP's. Elder Jensen answered and said "Oh yeah... we're probably going to bump them up to today... wait for us to call you in a little bit, we'll let you know where you're going and you'll need ti find a ride." (???!!!) So, seeing as neither of us had even started packing, panic ensued. We hurriedly packed our stuff, said a few final goodbyes, and then waited at the apartment for our ride to pick us up. Elder Thacker is now with Elder Hendrickson in Lake City 2nd ward, and I'm in Orange Park 1st ward, which is a sizeable suburb of Jacksonville. So, Thursday the storm did hit, welcoming me to my new BIKE area. The winds got pretty crazy and on Friday there were a bunch on tornado warnings, so we spent a lot of time inside. But now the sky is blue and the sun is out... hopefully that'll last for at least a few days. My new companions name is Elder Pinto, from San Diego, CA. He's going home at the end of this transfer... making him the 2nd missionary I'll "kill". (Does that mean I'm a serial killer?) The ward here seems pretty cool... it's pretty big, which is a nice change. So this week, aside from my ever-constant goal of sharing the gospel, I have a personal goal of burning off all of the unhealthy food I ate while stuck in the apartment. My diet was ri diculously terrible for a few days. Being on the bike should help. Just you wait... I'll get home skinny & buff! SCHYEAH!!! Anyhoo... that's about it. Hope you were able to follow all that. Love ya, Elder Borgia
