We were doing our weekly planning in the morning, and a knock comes at the door. I go to answer it, and there's Sister Nettles & Stephanie Crawford (Alyssa Smith's family) from Lake Butler with peanut butter brownies and a huge poster! They drove freakin 2 hours just for me!!! That was definitely the sweetest part of my day. So I got to chill and talk to them for about 30 minutes, and then it was back to work. Then on Saturday night us and the St. Mary's elders drove down to Jacksonville for a baptism in Mandarin, which is where Elder Finch just came from. That was pretty sweet. So yeah, it's been a great week. Time is FLYING by! Hope to hear from y'all soon! Love, Elder Borgia

I'M LEGAL BABY!!!
It's been a crazy week to kick off my first 6 weeks in Kingsland. I'm getting adjusted, I even know my way around town (a little bit). However, I still haven't met at least 1/2 of the people on our board, so hopefully I'll get to meet some more cool people this week. Monday we hanged out (or is it hung out?) with the elders in St. Mary's (Reid & Finch) at our apt. and played Monopoly, which I TOTALLY DOMINATED at!!! I was a ruthless tyrant! Tuesday morning Elder Thacker and I headed up to Darien to meet with President Newman and the assistants along with the other zone leaders for our "mission council". We revamped some of our standards and the Spirit was SO strong!!! Afterwards we went to President Padgett's house (he's in the mission presidency) and had a low-country boil (which is sausage, corn, shrimp, potatoes, crab, carrots, and onions all boiled together... SO GOOD!). Afterwards is when our day really got interesting. So we had an appointment with a part-member family that was on our way back. Neither of us had ever been there, so we plugged the address into "Judy" (what we named our GPS navigator) and headed off. However, what we didn't know was that the Camden county people labeled all of the roads wrong, so it took us to the wrong place. So it took us to a dirt driveway with a gate in the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, so we unlatched the gate and drove in. We drove for a while and finally got to a dilapidated trailer that was obviously uninhabited. So we sat there for a little bit and then decided to turn around and find a place to call, and when we turned the car around we saw a huge rottweiler sitting in the middle of the road. AACCKK!!! So we drove to the gate and the dog followed us, so we weren't sure how we were going to get out of there since we couldn't open the gate without getting out of the car, and if we got out of the car we were sure to be eaten! So I tried to maneuver the car around to where I could unlock the gate from the window, but to no avail. So then, in turning the car back around I ran over a cinderblock that had been covered by grass. So I went over it, and then when I looked behind the car I saw something rounded and black... it looked to me like a tire. So I thought, "GREAT! We're stuck in the middle of nowhere with a rottweiler and only 3 tires on the car!" What a predicament! So we sat there and I rolled down the window to study the dog, and after a few minutes came to the conclusion that it was a nice dog. So I got out of the car, and the dog proceeded to slobber all over me. I went over to the "tire" and found that it was actually the plastic lining to our left-front wheel-well. So, at least it wasn't the tire, right? So we stuck that in the trunk and put our attention back to leaving there. So as we were opening up the gate a van drove up, and this confused looking guy got out and asked us who we were. After introducing ourselves and explaining the situation, the man gave us directions to where we actually wanted to be, which was forever away. UGH! So yeah, that was fun. Then Thursday was my birthday, which was sweet. 21 BABY!!!
