This has been a great week. First, to start off, although this is getting emailed to you from AOL mail... please send emails to <jsbmhca_717@myldsmail.net>. I will not be checking AOL mail. Other than the weekly update, I'm going to be trying to stick to writing letters other than emailing. I promise you that if I get a letter I'll respond to it.
OK... now that the administrative crap is out of the way... on to the week. I don't know if last week I mentioned Will who we met on Friday (the 18th). He is SO COOL!!! We've met with him practically every day since, and he's preparing to be baptized in the next few weeks. He was SO prepared... all we did was knock on his door and it was downhill from there. I LOVE being a missionary and having experiences where I can literally see the hand of the Lord in this work. Monday night we had a totally awesome game of RISK, except that I lost at the end. :( I was doing good too! Then on Tuesday we had zone conference in Lake Butler. We overestimated how long it'd take us to get there, so we woke up at 4:30am and we hit the road by 6. We never hit the JAX rush-hour traffic we were expecting, so we got to the church at 7:30... and hour and a half early. So I slept for a little while in the car. The meeting was really good, and afterwards we went to the Oak Grove chapel (the first LDS church to be built in Florida) and we had a little meeting in there. Then instead of going back to Kingsland, I went on a trade-off to Darien (again!), this time we didn't spend any time visiting members I knew... this time we re contacted some investigators I knew from a year ago. So that was pretty fun, except that I'd forgotten how many sand gnats there are in Darien. So yeah... things were sweet this week. On Thursday (the 31st) it'll have been 18 months that I've been a missionary. CRAZY!!! Well, I'd better get going. Love ya! -Elder Borgia
