How do you spell rottweiler?!

This week FLEW by! I can't believe that Elder Hendrickson has already been here for 5 weeks. This week we started teaching a girl named Kendall and it's going very well. She's dating a member in the singles branch (flirt to convert, right?!) and his family is pretty awesome.

Ummm... OK so I KNOW that more than that happened, but I'm seriously drawing a blank on the rest of the week. Oh! I did get a pack of letters from my mom from all y'all cousins in "the bubble" (provo/orem). it was SCHWEET to hear from you. Sounds like everything's going well there. Congrats to McKay & Heather on their baby (McKay... did you say that YOU delivered her?!) Also a very belated congrats to Chelle & Ryan, as well as Deveren & Kiara on their new young-uns.

Another thing that happened yesterday... for the first time on my mission I was chased by a dog! (at least the 1st time I wasn't on a bike) We were tracting and came across a yard where there was a big rottweiler (sp?) out in front with no gate. We weren't sure about it so we stopped about 20 feet away and waited to see if it was mean. Well we quickly found out as it bared its teeth and charged us. So, I've always heard not to run in such a situation, but I'll tell you what, that's exactly what your instincts tell you to do! However I remembered so I only ran a few steps, the turned around. The dog got within 5 feet, stopped, then turned around. However, after he went back into the yeard he turned back around and charged us again, this time he got closer, and then he turned around again. He did this one more time, and then the owner came and freaked out on him. So, that was, um, fun & exciting.

Well, I know it was a bit of a boring update today. I'll try to do something daring & innovative this week to tell y'all about. This Saturday is transfer calls (already?!) and my official guess is that I'm gone (I've been in Lake City for almost 10 1/2 months now!) So, I'll keep you posted. Love ya! -Elder Borgia
