CINCO DE MAYO!!!

Well May got off to a roller-coaster start. First off... lemme just say that my companion is lazy, mean, and smells funny! I mean really, what to they teach these kids in the MTC nowadays... actually, not really. Elder Hendrickson told me that his mom reads these updates, so I figured I'd say hi to her by rattling her cage a bit. So, hey there Sister Hendrickson! You're son is an AWESOME missionary.. you can't even tell he's a greenie (except for that he's highly motivated, and he's already complaining about the humidity) Anyhoo... Monday was sweet... we drove down to Gainesville. We got permission so we could buy Elder Hendrickson a bike, but we figured while we were there we'd hang out at the mall and check out the UF campus. We went into the stadium and took some pictures... it was sweet! Tuesday we went back to Gainesville for zone conference, which was pretty cool, and afterward we all went to Paynes Prairie, which is a swampy place, to check out the gators. It was SWEET!!! Thursday wasn't the best of days. 2 different investigators told us to not come back... including the golden investigator I told y'all about last week. You'd think I'd get used to it after 15 months, but it still stings just as much as it did last year. Still... the week ended well. 2 random people showed up at church that wanted to be taught! It's amazing how the Lord works. I know that this is a bit shorter than usual, but that's it for today. Expect more next week. Love ya!
